Nice snake game.
I was wondering, where did the inspiration come from for sound effect of "ting" each time the snake turned?
Was a small addition (all the general vocal sound effects were great) and really made this entertaining.

GAME DESCRIPTION:
Eat as many eggs as you can, and grow to unbelievable sizes. But the more you eat, the harder it is to get around. Lucky there's no walls to restrict your movement. GoOD LUCK!!

I've got a few big projects I'm working on, and for a while I was starting to doubt whether I could do it alone. So I made this flash, just to keep me in top AS3 shape, and get practice finishing games from start to finish.
During the first 100 or so views there was a problem with the save highscore code, but i fixed it.
- I use a list of home made global classes
+ a keyboard control class;
+ a math class i made for common functions i use in math coding;
+ psychedelic button shuts off psychedelics
+ speed button chooses current speed, fast or slower
+and a few others i'm still perfecting, including a custom event class that you can use with out adding or removing any listeners (in a sense);

I was about to post the game when i realized it had no sound, i already was having a lot of fun with the snake game itself, but I felt it'd have a better overall condition if i added sounds.
One of the turning sounds got taken out at the end because if it ever repeated a lot it got pretty loud.

I like this, and think the slider for the frame rate is pretty cool. But you should really add arrow key compatibility.

\If you try using the arrow keys you'll find they work at high speeds, but once you click the slide bar the arrow keys control that instead

Sounds are great, very funny. But there's a bug. When I ate myself, I got the "Highscore is unset"
