**Update**
If anyone has more target ideas they'd like to request, or a particular weapon they'd like to see, or any other suggestions feel free to send me a pm.

This is a Simulation for a Beretta M9, check out the stats of the gun and play with it close up, then take it to the Shooting Range complete with a variety of targets for your shooting pleasure, each with distinct variation. I hope to put out more versions with different guns and targets soon ^__^ Enjoy.

A special thanks to my friend Tighen for brainstorming ideas with me :3

It sounds like bigbird is saying
"rape is fun, too"
"rake his fundue"
"rakis fondoo"

Cool, but there's not much to see here :[

I really enjoyed this submission for what it does offer, however I think you could have done a bit more with this idea. I really enjoyed the first menu with the side view of the gun; controlling it with the arrow keys was a fun, interesting, and new experience.

Suggestions for future reference:
- I really would have liked more guns to check out/ different shooting ranges
- The gun's firing rate could be a bit faster
- I didn't really get the feeling like I was shooting something, as much as clicking the target to punch holes in it.
- The gunshot samples were okay, but not the most convincing
- The arrows/ buttons/ menu looked rather cheesy (try to give your submissions a slightly more professional looking navigation menu)

Overall this is a decent submission, but it could use a few additions/ some polishing up.

Great work nonetheless :)

Hmmm

One gun, and that's it? I mean, I'm not that interested into guns to begin with, but when playing a game I would expect that I can try out more guns than just one, since the experience of shooting a virtual gun is never the same as shooting a real one I would want to at least try out various guns with different shooting speeds, different sounds, etc. .

I liked the idea of giving the player different targets to shoot at, and different sound effects for each target as well, but sadly that was about the only thing I really liked about this game.
The rest - and I am just being honest here - is just some mediocre point and click game with no real purpose at all. The animation of the shooting gun doesn't even look that good since the gun stays at the bottom of the screen no matter where I aim (I would at least expect the gun to change it's angle if I aim high or low).

Overall the idea is somewhat original. At least I never played a shooting range simulation before. But it would really be nice if I could try out a few more guns and if the gun would be a bit better animated.

Not too bad

Well this was not too bad and I remember when this started out in that one thread you were throwing knifes at the people instead and now it has changed up to a gun and just shooting at random people as well. The game as not entirely bad but I think you could have changed it a bit by doing a few things.

The game play here was nice and simple and would make a good stress reliever I think. The bullet sounds are very nice here.

The graphics were pretty simple as you had a background then added some random people and sounds to it which was not too awful bad I think.

The sound effects were very nicely done here but I think a couple of them could be changed. The first one I noticed is that both Conan O' Brien and Jay Leno had the same exact sound effect voices when getting shot for some reason. As for Big Bird, I would try to find a sound of him screaming instead.

Overall, not very bad but some of the sounds could have been changed to make it funnier.

Not that good..

*It's a simple gun game, except here it's just a clicking game. You could've just as well put this under the genre "Point and click" because there's no interactivity apart from that, I mean, it's just shooting a poster with some funny special effects. I'll elaborate later.

The graphics: It's a vector image of a gun on the first screen surrounded with a very beveled background and frame. Next I know, I click on the arrow and what do I get? A long stick that moves up and down, decorated with black and grey, which changes when the mouse is pressed down. The poster is just different images of the actors which I guess is ripped from the internet.

The gameplay: Meh. The gun game was better than this. On the first page ("the specs") I decided to test out the gun, and instantly I found a bug after reloading: a bullet disappears into oblivion after I press the Left arrow key. The thing is, you press the left arrow key and a bullet disappears from the array of bullets -- and when you click, (pardon me, I don't know much about guns) it should theoretically have the combined force of 2 bullets...but that's not so. The bullet simply disappears. And to add to that, you lose yet ANOTHER bullet if you click the mouse button! And it doesn't even prevent you from pressing left after it's been pressed once! The "shooting range" was less than impressive. Like I said, it's a stick that moves up and down according to the mouse, and once you click a gray (grey) splotch appears out of nowhere on the place where the mouse is. I could assume it came from the gun, but no! You shouldn't leave room for the user to think that it could've come from somewhere else. You could've showed the splotch (which I'll refer to as a bullet) coming from the gun and hitting the poster, rather than playing a fire animation on the gun and letting us just assume it came from there.

The sound: Well, it was rather unexpected. There was no music, sadly, but I didn't even know there were any sound effects apart from the gun's, until of course, I pressed the left and right keys. It was funny because it was unexpected...but after a while, as always, it got tiresome.

All in all, not bad either...but not that good. It's a simple reskin of a button game, no offence.

~~ Summary ~~

~~ Good points ~~
1) Unexpected (and funny) sound effects
2) Good (your own) art

~~ Bad points ~~
1) Shooting range -- the gun is represented as a stick
2) Reloading bug
3) Reloading in shooting range is not the same as reloading in the specs
4) Simple reskin of button game
5) Sound effects got tiresome after a while..any way to mute it?
