Play in Survivor mode for a more realistic experience where the need food and sleep will be added to your survival requirements. Or play in Run'n'Gun mode and blast your way to freedom.

Another bug worth noting is that, at least in the easy/medium mode, sometimes the horde alarm sounded when you walked outside, but no hordes came. Then after either entering a building or entering a new area they will flood you. Very annoying if you try to advance from one screen to another and the hordes just spawn right on top of you.

Very fun.

I like how you turned a barricade defense game into this exploring RPG game with melee weapons as well. Nice how it's like Fallout with all kinds of junk lying around with a bunch of weapons and food found in spaces.
I'm just a little confused as to how the lockpick system is used here. Whenever I press D, the pin doesn't stay in place as it should. Anyways, great work on the series! I'm not finished with the game yet, but I'll get there sooner or later. n__n

the addition of interactive exploration, xp, and a bit of character customization really made this game stand out. being able to bring a companion along was pretty awesome too. and i am a bit ashamed to admit that my heart nearly jumped out of my chest on one of the surprise attacks.

i did have a few minor critiques.
once you find the second companion and the first goes away, when the second died, i found no way of getting the first one back. yes its more realistic since they wouldnt just wait around for you but if you were going for realism, then a storage container that magically has all your stored items at each safe house would not work. i think the idle companion should be waiting at each of the safe houses, just like the storage unit.
it would also be neat if different companions had different skill boosts. meaning one would be better with melee and another would be better with automatic weapons and so on.
add more possible companions. i only found two in the whole game.
it would be helpful to be able to see the dmg rating of a weapon before purchasing it at the pawn shop. unless i just totally missed it.
there were variants of the same weapons but with different effects in the game. maybe next time add weapon customization.

Great game like always. keep up the great work
