You stated that you wanted to do something different for the third last stand. Well, it's a good thing to try something different with game play. I did enjoy this one, but with A couple of nitpicks here and there. The game feels a tad drawn out, but I think it was because you wanted to offer those who didn't accept the missions in game an opportunity to get weapons and whatnot.

As for the whole "rescue your significant other plot", I didn't hate the husband/wife you rescued in game, but I felt more attached to the allies you made in game. Especially the ones that fought beside you and provided good cover fire. So yeah, I enjoyed the AI partnersâEUTM a lot.

It does get laggy from time to time, and the times when the "infected charge" theme goes off, they don't chase you, and when you proceed to the other screen, you'll have A whole mob of infected amassed to the far left where they proceed to rip your little partner to shreds.

As I stated, it has its flaws, but I did enjoy this game. There were a couple of times where the infected would burst through the ceiling and scared the living crap out of me.

I hope your next game for the last stand series is just as good as or possibly better than this one.

4/5 stars.
