OONi Battle takes you to the world of OONi. Pick one of the three available tribes and battle your way through the land to destroy the Shadow Ghost.

This is a turn-based strategy battle game. You only need to use the mouse. You'll have to face enemies one by one, and if you lose you will have to start all over again. Hit them hard to get more coins, which will be needed if you want to get to level 10.

What you play here is the short version of the game, which is still under development. You can find the endless version, and also some more information about this and other future games at

Pretty good

This was interesting to play because there were so many aspects for such a simple looking game. It seems like you may have had some trouble trying to make a more basic game. I had some glitches with the screen, which annoyed me. Still, there's nothing to stop me from skipping the tutorial. What I felt worked the best out of this was how well the animation looked. The lines and shadings were done extremely well.

For an action game where you run to your opponent, it was pretty specific when it came to attacks. The backgrounds are decent, but it could have been more elaborate. I also have to give you guys credit for having so many songs that fit all of the battles. It's nice to know that this is also a game you can take your time with. The speed thing is really worth it when it does work.

Run of the mill

As turn turn-based games go it is not the worst but it relying very much on its graphics so far. You get to change the look of your "OONi" but this does NOTHING to the stats of your player. The game-play very quickly becomes repetitive with little way to vary it apart from a choice of three upgrades that must be unlocked with coins. It is incredibly easy to unlock all three and after this point the coins only go to activating each power up. The music doesn't fit with the type of cartoony artwork, more applicable to a street fight type game. I can see how this will do its job to promote the website and is INCREDIBLY OBVIOUS this is an attempt at a smart phone game but as it is now it is little more than pointless.

Well done!

Fun game to play! Haven't passed level 9 yet though, but i think it's do-able after collecting some coins, so the game isnt too hard.. You could try making the tutorial shorter, its quite long for a little game! (Try combining the text of the 3 power ups for instance)

Pretty, nice presentation, but flawed

I found this bewildering at once, then thoroughly disapointing once i figured it out.

exactly five options in battle, 3 of which have to be unlocked and none of which are particularly interesting. the game is cripplingly simple from the get-go.

That aside, the stat system seems rather redundant. As an experiment, I tried focusing purely on increasing my defense every round. Despite this, the damage enemies were doing only increased, presumably because their attack scales faster than my defense can. By about the 8th round i was facing an enemy who hit me for 25 every hit, and all of my attacks, even quick-attack criticals, did no damage. it was rather pointless.
