...Just... bad.

Where to begin...

Controls are all over the board. Maneuvering the helicopter in and out of range is taxing to the point of impossible because the clown's punches, even with their "charge-ups", are thrown a lot faster than it's possible to change momentum once they're read, i.e. rising from a downward velocity.

On that note, the yellow box which arbitrarily takes away your life if you're out of it? It's gaudy, nonsensical and smacks of a very obvious lack of understanding of how to put in video game borders and maximum speed limits. On my third playthrough, I actually sent my character sailing off-screen and it took five minutes of holding the button the other way before I saw him again- zooming through at eighty miles an hour. Not even going to ask why falling bullets from shooting down in the "safety zone" disappear outside of your gun range, because I think I already know.

For God knows what reason, I'm taken back NOT to the game when I retry from my (inevitable) first couple of deaths. Rather, my entire game shuts down and demands that I reload through not one, not two, but THREE different "press play" screens before I can try again.

The characters and the helicopter themselves look okay, faithful recreations of their ORIGINAL counterparts, but the background is nothing but a giant red light. The foregrounds consists of few tacky boxes and a tiny trail of MSPaint pencil marking a gray ground border. It's monotonous and uninteresting.

Worst of all, there's just nothing fun about this game. Even forgiving that it's tedious waiting for the game to slog through to the actual play points for minutes at a time, even forgiving the broken nature of its borders and its sloppy art... It's just boring as hell elevating a helicopter up and down while you hold a mouse button down on one target that doesn't move. The only way it could be worse is if it were actually insulting, which it isn't, but...

I'm sorry, but I can't pull punches here. Everything smacks of being broken and beginner work, and there are bugs and issues the size of Canada that demand they be fixed. I know for a fact that there are tutorials on Newgrounds that can give answers to some of this stuff- I strongly suggest you look at them.

Could use some work...

There's no history at all, only this 'Somewhere in Nevada' then I find this screen of a copter with a gunner shooting at the clown, how the fuck did I got there?
Physics were horrible, the copter's movement wasn't even close to a real one.
All you do is fly around trying to avoid the clown's attack, add that to the fact you also lose health when you get out of this 'square'.
What could use:
AN ACTUAL HISTORY, about how these guys got into a fight with the clown.
BETTER PHYSICS, copter movement sucked.
A BACKGROUND, only a red screen? C'mon!
And... FIX THAT GO BACK TO PRELOADER AFTER LOSING, it's pretty annoying watching the whole intro every time you lose.
Overall, as a prototype it was OK, but to launch it as a finished product was a fail. Sorry for being harsh, but it is what it is.

Just meh. Twas alright, but do something about this whole "going back to the preloader screen everytime I lose" thing. WTF is that?
