The Lance.

The ultimate goal for any aspiring jouster.

Will you ever claim it? Will your descendants?

You'll never know unless you try - but the Kings champion isn't going to make that easy!

Pretty easy actually...

I beat the Champion in Generation 3, and I was only level 10 when I did it, I have a good aim, but still, it's pretty easy to win. On the other hand, it's a very entertaining game, so I'm giving it 10 stars. The things you could add are more levels, different bosses and a storyline.

Fun, but not original.

I had a lot of fun with this game, but almost immediately it reminded me of another game I've played, Infinity Blade. The concept is pretty similar--leveling up your weapons until you've mastered them, not getting experience from a piece of equipment you've mastered, starting with a new generation with the same equipment when you lose to the final boss, the final boss being exactly the same each generation...granted the gameplay is very different--jousting as opposed to sword-fighting--and the art/music was obviously original.
I'm not saying it's not a fun game--I had a lot of fun playing and beating it. But it's copying of Infinity Blade's style made me a little uncomfortable, that's all.

Very fun game, but I see room for improvement

Mainly in that I think you should incorporate shield movements, maybe when you're up to speed switch a view to oncoming, and move shield with asdw ? It sounds good at least.
Also not really getting any audio.
But still, pretty damn fun game

Woo! Beat it in 3 Generations!

I have to say, I found it very engaging. I was always doing something, and I enjoyed the idea that you were a new generation constantly trying to avenge your past generations! I do wish there was a bit more variety, something to keep the fun of it all going with each generation, as every joust is the same - with the exception of their armor being tougher, and their hits hitting harder. But all in all this was a very fun game.

This game has had some definite changes since I first played it on Armor Games. The AI seems to respond better to the player, which adds a bit of challenge that it was previously lacking. I found that in the original version, it was extremely easy to dupe the computer by going to the extreme bottom-right to lure his shield away, then quickly going up to hit him in the head... it worked almost every time. I'm glad to see that has been changed.

I think my main complaint is the fact that EXP can only be earned with new items; this means that if the player has mastered items but can't afford new ones, he can't level up until he earns more money. Until this game I had never played a game that essentially forced the player to buy the ability to level up. Another problem with this EXP system is that if a piece of equipment is close to mastery, say it has maybe 190/200 points, although the game says "+60 EXP," the player only gets credit for the EXP left until the item is mastered; either credit should be given for the displayed amount of EXP, or the displayed amount should be changed.

Regardless, an overall enjoyable game, although it gets a bit monotonous trying to grind out enough money for the best horse. When I got it on Armor Games, I think I had gotten to generation 6 or 7, and I'm really not looking forward to doing it again. It would be nice to have a bit of replayability.
