I thought the game was a bit short. Other than that, it was hilarious to hit someone low level in the head with a high level character :P

The quality of the art and game mechanics are excellent. I just don't understand why the game was allowed to be beaten so quickly. You can easily take the "boss" down anywhere from generation 2 to 5. This puts you at half his level at least, close to a third if you take him second generation.

It seems like the framework is here to make a much lengthier game. It just wasn't taken advantage of.

Also, what is the purpose of experience points? You earn money, then you buy armor. I don't see how I get any reward whatsoever from having a higher level.

I beat the game in like 10 minutes, then I ended up spending my time killing the last boss 50 times (almost not an exaggeration) just to get the horse medal.

I want to give this game a higher rating so badly, but follow through on the details of game progression were a total miss.

Reeeaally great game here. The _only_ thing I have against it, is that I'd like it if it would continue past achieving the lance. Like, you'd then start defending your champion title, or something. I dunno, but ending this kind of game, with a boatload of upgrades still left unupgraded, kind of sucks.

Otherwise, though, super great.
