Raoul Sinier is without doubt a unique artist. He juggles music, illustration and animation with a freewheeling talent.
With previous releases on ad noiseam, Sublight and coredump Records and remixes and collaborations with venetian Snares, Mu-Ziq, Hecq, vast aire... his music captures emotions and nails then down somewhere, on a familiar door. This kidnapping curiously liberates the listener and enables their penetration into the very sophisticated musical universe of the musician. The power of the inspiring alchemy is ever increasing with its captivating melodies and ultraviolent rhythms.
"Cymbal Rush/Strange Teeth & Black Nails" is Raoul Sinier's latest release for the UK label Oeuvre Records, adding to an already interesting and selective catalogue. Covering the classic Thom Yorke song "Cymbal Rush", from the critically acclaimed album "The Eraser". It ranges from the tribal drums and emotive vocals of the title track to the slo-mo breaks feel of "Ants War", from the tumbling electronica of "Strange Teeth & Black Nails" to the frenzied experimentation of "Hidden Tremens Industry".
To conclude the EP, fellow multimedia connoisseur and talented Berlin producer, Hecq adds his own distinctive take on "Strange Teeth & Black Nails".

The weirdness of the character against the backdrop of the reak world is unnerving.
