make the next part please and make a second of invicibility after getting hit
This is basically the new platforming/hack and slash engine I've been working on lately. My goal was to slightly recreate a Kingdom-Hearts-style gameplay. It still needs some work so that's why I decided to test the waters with a ZERO chapter to start off the series...
I promise that the next one will have better animations and programming

make the next part please and make a second of invicibility after getting hit
Not a bad game, I have to say. The platforming sections are well thought out, but the combat section needs a little work.
-The Soul Gauge shouldn't deplete over time, or at least not as quickly as it does
-The character needs to have at least a second of invincibility after getting hit. I was defeated due to that fact, when I got cornered by three enemies.
-While I enjoy the free-roam real-time battle system, I find it difficult to concentrate on making menu selections while dodging enemy attacks, and I feel that a turn-based system might be better.
Just a few things to think about. Otherwise, I think it has potential as a fantastic game. Keep working on it, and I hope to see a full version soon. :)
Very Nice
This game was simple and fun, i enjoyed the kingdom hearts-esque choosing an action style, the only problem with it was that it would only let you go up, which gave the enemies a very large window of opportunity to do lots of damage while you frantically try to get to the special abilities/attacks to heal yourself or do more damage. I am guessing the story was thrown in to try and give it more feeling to it but, all it did was give kind of an awkward fell to the beginning, the controls were nice except for the option to go up and down on the action list.

you have to press [A] to go up and [D] to go down...
But I understand the misconception... I shoved a lot into the tutorial
