age of war 1 was so much betta

in one of the other blogs on age of was there was a rumor that he was making this game i had m hopes up but i am disappointed i liked the origanal idea of cave man vs cae man with the turrents on top the base i really enjoyed age of war and this fell pitifully short to it

not your best work

First the animation was great. The sound and music was great too. But... the gameplay was aweful compared to age of war 1 and 2. I hated how the units came out automatically because what made it fun was you selected your units one at a time. I felt I had no control. The water men was a waste of space. you set such high standars for your other games that this one was bad. Looking foward for another Age of war NOT another army of ages.

You seriously need to fix the glitch where all your units get erased when you evolve. It's impossible to win like that. I'm not sure if its a glitch or part of your design.. I don't know how you would have missed that glitch though.

Needs to be fixed asap. I won't vote until its fixed, but for now its 5/10 since its unplayable pretty much as is.

It will be a 10/10 5/5 when fixed. The opening cut scene was hilarious and unexpected, I seriously cant wait to play this (once its fixed).

No Skill Required

I started playing this game last night and had to leave in the middle of it to go to a party. I got tot the military age and just left it there playing. I came back about eight hrs later and saw that i had 230k evolution points and 650k in money and that my base was still entirely intact. With this game's current design, there isn't really any room for strategy. Enemy units aren't labeled as heavy, light, biological etc. and therefore the descriptions of one's own units prove to be mostly useless. Another error that could easily be resolved is allowing a player to see the stats of his units after he has already purchased the building that produces them. This game has the structure of something that could be enjoyable and challenging, yet it fails to make the player think and instead promotes an entirely linear and predictable route to victory.

can it be any harder?

great and all but why is easy mode harder than normal or hard? the aliens chang age every 3 minute regardless of their kills. even with barely any of my units killed he upgrade. i spam my skills but he get the upper hand. i keep exp he is 5 time faster. what's up with that?

great game overall, but i dont feel satisfied at all. the gentleman age is ugly and the attack animation makes them slower than they supposed to be/get killed faster for some reason. heck my cavemens were stronger and more resilient
