Written for the Ludum Dare 21. The theme was escape.
It's about a child who struggles with bullying.

It works well but is kinda boring.
I agree that it seemed a shame that you still lose in the end, but then bullying is like that some times - the bastards win.
As for Funnyguy23... How dumb are you? you are probably one of those stupid fucks who believe ignoring bullies or trying to be their friend works. Bullies understand one thing - being threatened. Forget those pussy counsellors with their faux intelligent psychology. I once had this kid who would constantly give me shit for years on end. One day he found a tree branch and found it amusing to keep swinging it at my face making me try to avoid being hit. Something snapped inside me. I pulled the branch out of his hand and raised it above my head. I remember him looking into my eyes and the the look of fear that appeared on his face. He ran faster, than I have ever seen someone run before.
That's what bullies understand.
I'm not sure what your message is...
I tried hugging, stomping, avoiding... All ends up in failure. So unless there's an ending I'm missing, you pretty much seem to be saying 'if you're being bullied your doomed'. That's a pretty damning message. You could interpret it as there's no avoiding it, and escaping doesn't work but still... I have been bullied in the past, so I know you can come out of it fine. And if you want it to be a 'try, try and try again' game, then you may want to make it shorter, and the choices more obvious- so that if there is an ending people miss, they actually want to play through again, while I got bored pretty quickly of trying to research the tunnels for an alternative. Nice set up and a good attempt, but more colours, choices and less 'keep jumping till you get it', might help. I did like how you set the environment up to symbolise the progression : Big, open spaces where you ascended before the bullies, and closed, descending tunnels after. I thought this might have been a clue, and kept looking to go up, but still- no better ending.

The people giving this game low scores were probably never bullied themselves and so don't really understand it.
This was a very well done game. I've been bullied myself, so I relate to this a lot.
We especially like the Boston accents.
