This animation is about facing your barriers. In what ever you want to achieve. All the things that may hold you back. You have to know your limits or weaknesses, turn around and confront them. In my case it was laziness, lack of motivation and so I represented this as rust, (you get rusty when you don't use your talents). So I tried to confront it by animating more.

This animation helped me break this rust literally too. So whatever it is ; disbelief, lack of confidence, others telling you you cant do it, challenges. If your truly determined you can reach your potential by just confronting these things. Everyones capable of achieving so much in life, but they never think they can. Make use of your talents, your light, your true potential and be determined whatever it may be, all it takes is the determination to sacrifice and give all you have until you reach your goal.

As you improve and get stronger, so will the challenges in front of you get bigger, stronger, but overcoming these bigger challenges is what brings true joy.It is when we grow.

Even if you don't reach your goal exactly. You'll live a life without regrets. I hope you can see this. This was inspired by a famous Poem.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other

people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others."

Aces and stars!

I love it in just about every possible way, great choice in music and there was a lot of synergy it had with the actual animation, and the message behind it (which if you read the author description is more than just fighting stick dudes) Is something I really can get behind and haven't heard before, yet rings true. I also suffer from inactivity and laziness and I don't really think it's so much that I feel like I couldn't even do great things if I tried, but more that I could never "really" reach my true potential, and that even if I did it would only cause problems and complications. So generally I just don't work to pursue the greatness hidden inside of me. And so my skills and spirit get rusty and weak, and the longer I decline or stay stagnant instead of growing as a person, the harder it is to achieve the next great thing. This might have actually made a big change in my lifestyle, we'll see in the future. But even if it didn't, thanks for making this amazing animation with it's incredible message =)

As for the animation itself, it was smooth, sleek, and had great effects. At brief fractions of a second, it seemed like attacks and the opponents reaction didn't seem to quite line up completely. (too low of reaction or too powerful of one) And there was a couple brief moments where another frame added may have improved the movement and made it seem more fluid and easy to follow. Otherwise, I love it to death! 10/10! Good show hun! ^_^

Keep up the good work, and don't let that rust take hold again!

Loved it!

Great flash, great messages. Only thing I think you could have done is to increase the speed of the 'kung-fu' when they weren't using any.... powers. It just seemed that they were a bit slower than they should have been. I understand that animating them at a faster speed would have some pitfalls. However, it would give a greater sense of how 'powerful' they are on top of their powers. That aside, it is your animation and I enjoyed it. So make more, because I'd love to see how you'll begin to improve as an artist.
