Kill vampires before they infect the innocent humans. Each town has different Tarot cards that describe how to detect vampires - read them carefully!

Developed by the Center for Game Science at the University of Washington.

UPDATE (16 Aug): Made some performance improvements that should reduce lag. If you are still experiencing lag try switching to Medium or Low quality (in the main menu or top left in level selection screen). Thanks!

good but one question

how can you tell which is which with the wannabes

CenterForGameScience responds:

Wannabes are really just humans disguising as vampires. They will have some vampire traits (claws, red eyes, fangs, wings), but not all of them. Real vampires will have all of the traits on that level.

Nice game

Nice new concept, smooth gameplay, good animation. Only downside I found was that the game couldn't be scaled, which when you have a high resolution, makes it near impossible to see things like teeth. =/

CenterForGameScience responds:

Thanks! There usually is a good way to find vampires through some other means, if only fangs are visible. You can sometimes use the biting behavior to detect vampires (don't kill humans just having a conversation though!).

Excellent time killer

I loved this game for its originality and polished feel. Just a few things that would boost this game even further.
-The lag on some levels, especially bonus levels was annoying
-A large overall map would be great. Clearing several levels in one zone still giving bonuses. Vampire populations would build up if left unchecked.
-Alternative minigames, such as a tarot card on one side and a vampire on the other and you have to rapidly true or false if its a vampire or not.
-Some levels requiring a minigame first to see how may tarot cards you draw for the level.
-The bonuses you spend your experience on are very expensive, meaning on some levelups you get nothing.
-Extra bonuses such as 'red eye vampires are worth extra gold' could be available

Overall a well-made game. Good graphics, sound and gameplay, but the music could use a bit of variety. I will be adding this to my list of regulars though.
