I understand what you were trying to do but this couldn't help but come across as pretentious to me. Maybe its just me but it seems like independent designer is trying to go after what Limbo did and though i appreciate the increased view of games arrr art this still felt as if it insisted upon itself. I'm all for games that try to make an artistic statement but do they all have to be black white or grey platformers? Of course its one of the best styles for a story such as this nevertheless it would have been best to break away from Limbo and its copies. Great music though.

...But they're right. This is an art game, with a heavy emphasis on "art." There is little innovative gameplay to speak of here. It feels like it's trying too hard to be clever. Here's a suggestion for next time, because this is lovely and you can do better: Focus on creating something truly original. It's wonderful, but I feel like I've played it before. An art game can be more than this-- Push the envelope. Blow our minds.
The song and the story are god. But the game is too simple

Good Concept: Boring Game
I think that the concept and Ideas that you have are great, story line is somewhat interesting, and the characters seem somewhat in depth. Now the problem comes with the actual game. You made it way to easy to navigate, there is no way to lose the game, and there was absolutely no challenge to the game. I would say that you made the graphics very fitting to the story, the controls where nice for the story, and the added elements made the game slightly more interesting but overall the game was just not exciting.
I would say that this is a game geared towards art and story, but not in the game. If you where to work on another: just improve on the difficulty. besides that great work I look forward to seeing more.
