Utterly benign gameplay. No enemies, no obstacles, no manner of exploration as you point out exactly where each item is immediately, and no time limit makes the game barely a game at all.

In addition there seems to be no actual message or goal within it. The man is unnoticeable from start to finish, and because the protagonist has no visible attachments to the world aside from the woman, his disappearance means nothing. The colouring mechanic is pretty, but again it has no context to mean anything. Why does making the world more colourful cause the protagonist to fade? Why is it than it's only when the woman gains these items that the change happens?

I'd love to see a little context if you have any to give.

Great game...

... for emo kids. It's slow, boring and just really lame. The controls were smooth and the sound was alright.

Dragged On

This submission is really more of an art piece than a game. Using nothing more than directional controls, you pilot an aggravataingly slow-moving black figure around a stark gray world, jumping on platforms and falling down holes, trying to find colored objects to return to a female black figure that sits in the approximate center of the world. With each successful retrieval, one color is added to the gray world, though honestly, the colored world is a little clashing and ugly by comparison.

Once you've walked back and forth between the girl respective edges of the world to get an object seven times, you're done and your character disappears, leaving you to guess at some kind of story. Maybe you're the girl's deceased boyfriend and you're restoring color to her world from beyond? Who cares. This game is about imagery, art, and sybmolism more than gameplay, but it's an okay submission if you're one of those people who really likes the artsy games that have made their way onto Newgrounds over the years.

The game movement is SO slow and I missed some obstacles / traps / any other idea. And the story - you basically bring random stuff to some random chick and you evaporate in the end. Call me dumb but I do not get it.
