love it

I love the game and the fact that it went from grey to colour and the music is beautiful. There was a good story too and I really enjoyed it. Its a shame there aren't more games like this :)

Simple and Touching

There may be some different posibilities for the meaning of this game. But after a bit of thinking, I'm pretty sure what you meant is to lead us into the mind of a girl who's lost her love (can't tell why he died, though).
At the beginning, she feels depressed, of course. She thinks about him alot, sees him in her mind. The Depresion doesn't allow her see any colors, which is the symbol for happiness. She feels GREY - depressed. but after a while, she starts thinking about other stuff, like flowers, baloons and etc. As the game continues, she gets over the tragedy and moves on. Her lover slowly disapears from her memories (it doesn't mean she forgets him. She just succeeds not to think about him all of the time). Colors are slowly taking over her GREY mind.
The grave beside the yellow flower is a clue that this game has to do with death.
Maybe, I would have liked to see more clues, like this grave. Maybe clues about their relationship, or about how he died.
Great job, anyways!! I like games like this, which make you think.

Beautiful and Brilliant

This game is brilliant, no matter what the message. I think I interpreted the game incorrectly. I thought that the main character (the protagonist you play as) was a robot and that the character with the long hair was the boy. I thought that the game showed the robot as the boys childhood toy/ friend. As the boy grew older he became more interested in women and forgot about his friend. This is why the character that you played as slowly became more faded and blurry as you gathered items and restored the world to full colour, as if the robot/ protagonist was being slowly forgotten. At the end, when the childhood friend/toy had gathered all of the items for the boy to give to his loved one the boy simply forgot about the toy all together, hence the robot floating off into the distance.
