I understand completely, don't get me wrong, but that was an awful story. This is the story of a girl and the tool who loved her. How well do they know each other? We don't know, but we're willing to tear ourselves apart for her. Don't get me wrong, I would go to the ends of time for a girl, but not a girl who doesn't know I exist. I understood the blurring effect was symbolic for fading away and I didn't hate it, but after I noticed it, the ending was so predictable. I'm not amused. The piano is too twangy for my taste. It doesn't really blend with the soft aura this has. The melody is great, but wrong instrument. It gives me a headache. A four is about all I can give for the game mechanics working. Although how slow I was and the inability to pick up multiple items annoyed me, but I understand that was the point.

Not Appealing

The story was okay although you didn't really convey it enough for most folks to understand.

Music was alright.

The game was plain boring and the ending was meh.

It was.... eh, not so good.

"The sense of materialism is strong in this one". The story was mediocre and semi-original. The fact that you ran around getting gifts for your beloved had a rather large sense of materialism infused in it. The gameplay grows boring after collecting 3 items. The end is unrewarding, as I pretty much guessed you become a "ghost" of yourself. If you actually died or not is open to interpretation I assume. And before people start thinking "does this guy have a heart?" Yes I do. I keep it in a small box that I carry around with me and I put it off to the side so I can actually write a critical review. Not "I luv this game" or "Sooooo romantic". No. I write a critical review, take it to heart.

Conclusion: Boring and repetitive platforming with predictable end does not a game make. You may now bombard me with dislikes. --Nightmarish
