Great design

But a lot of clicking

Even though...

I had to play it twice because i missed the painting at the hospital, maybe have a re-do feature or something like that because It's a little frustrating later in the game when you can't finish the game but you can't find what you missed. Literally there's no way you could find it. Yeah, it is kind of dumb to go to the murderers house alone without telling anyone, I'd bring a whole team with me with vests on and guns, but hey, it didn't make the game any less fun. Even though some complain about gameplay that's to easy, or that doesn't have enough depth I enjoyed it. If they wanted to play something harder then they should have played a different game, not EVERYTHING has to be a challenge, you can sit back and relax and play an easy game every now and again.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this game and I enjoyed clicking around and putting clues together.

nice but some flaws in gameplay..

Seems very nice but when i use one some of my detective stuff it's almost impossible to get "BACK" in the game! Have to just click click click click click, and hope i hit the right place. It's fkin annoying and takes lot of time. So u really need better gameplay.

If you like trains...

...then you'll love being railroaded by this game. Don't blame the the score on the atmosphere or artistic interpretation of the source material. Without spoiling it, I had the murderer pegged as soon as I left the school. But because there was absolutely no depth to the game I can't possible give it better than a 6. The red herring was weak at best and much of the mise en scene care disappears after the second act. The TV show that this game promotes wishes it was capable of funding a horizontally integrated media blitz as well as ABC's Castle but this frankly doesn't cut it. Stick to creating immersive original noir and you'll get 10's every time!

I feel bad for the DA

I seriously hate to be the DA for this district... trespassing, burglary, theft and all on your first day of work

Not to mention I'd hate to be the commissioner, going to the residence of the prime suspect all by yourself, as a forensic detective? What the fk? Suicidal much?

The game itself is nothing more than a scavenger hunt, little to no puzzling and there's barely an intellectual challenge, thinking is actually discouraged with you having to break the law time and again to come up with a very circumstantial prime suspect at best

The navigation is... irritating at best, it would be much better to control moving around with the keyboard, so that investigating and moving don't overlap, connecting evidence was also a bit awkward, where I had to combine piece A, B and C but putting A and B together wouldn't work, I had to combine A and C first and finally add B, which felt a bit redundant
