This is the first of several games produced as a 3 week "challenge" called Game Slam at Ninja Kiwi. The idea being that each team of 2 creates something original and complete inside the 3 weeks. This weeks game is Flur, by Chad Edwards and Derek Wu. In their words "Flur aims to be a progressive casual adventure with engaging and nonthreatening gameplay."

I can't tell you enough how much I enjoy playing this game. This is one of those type of games that you can just kick back, relax and play however long you want to and always have the option to come back and play again. With that in mind, it has a similar appeal to a puzzle game where you can always play it at your own leisure. I know this is a collecting and explore type of game, but I can't help but feel like it does a great job at exploiting it's purpose. The power ups are a great addition and things start getting very interesting when they start stacking up where you are able you use them back to back. The accomplishments are a good way to give you a goal to achieve whenever playing the game. You don't have to complete all goals at once, but thats what gives this game good reply value. The only thing I would have loved to see in this game is more than one background to roam around in, a sense of you actually moving in the backgrounds, you know actually having the backgrounds move as you move within them and finally perhaps a few more music tracks that fit the background environments. Those are just a few suggestions that I think that will make the game even more engaging, but as how it is now, I really can't find anything wrong with it. All I know is if a little more was done with it, it would be perfect. Very nice and relaxing game.

Very nice, I am constantly thinking of Chemistry Class with the orbitals. This is an amazing and original game that I feel needs to have more attention.

Four stars.

A nice toy, so to speak. It's not a game per se, though the upgrades disguises it as such.
Quite relaxing, though a storyline of some sort would be lovely.
Also, it's a bit fun being in control of Tinker Bell.

simple and elegant. perfect soundtrack and relaxing gameplay
could go for another level of difficulty or even a point where there is nothing but red orb structures to add a challenge later in the game once flight and powerup use is mastered.
