The Anthem of the Gamer.

The World is Saved is a new epic song and anthem for video game fans. Made in the pixel-art style of SNES (Super Nintendo) cutscenes, this video was a collaborative effort from IGN's Podcast Beyond community. IGN's Ryan Clements pulled together a small team of volunteers to animate a video for Danny Wiessner's latest single. The video debuted at the end of the live recording of Podcast Beyond Episode 200, which can be viewed here:

Pure epicness

Like the statement up there says its pretty awesome. Seriously it describes what
video games deliver and why gamers play them whatever the type of game it is(FPS,RTS, RPG etc.)thats what i like of the song, also the message is simple we don't play to beat it but we play FOR it but nowadays many people don't get it.

Not Bad

I personally feel that the ambition is a little greater then the end product. It I look at it for what it is, a neat little song that pays respect for gamers. It was worth the watch.

If I follow the hype left by the authors claims that I should expect this to be the "Anthem for gamers" and the "new epic song", then the experience is greatly whimpered by the vanilla sounding vocalist and somewhat hokey lyrics.

this has made me realize what being a true gamer is. not to beat the game but to enjoy it for what it is and it has also gave me more self confidence about playing games.
