Hello, folks! This is my third game, being my second flash work (first being JugglePix). Since I'm on holidays, I've challenged myself to finish a game in less than a week - turned out it was over in five days. Since I'm really into skill games, and it's been a while since I wanted to make a typing game, Typix was born! There are four different stages, and each of them challenge different skills, like speed, reflexes and the ability to "think ahead". There is also a special Olympic Mode, which you can take when you feel confident enough with the previous modes.

I truly hope you enjoy this work - feel free to give any kind of feedback! It was a pleasure to make it, and I'm even happier to share it with you :) Now, time to have fun! Improve your abilities, hunt down those achievements and put your name in the world records!

Another good one :)

Once again, the biggest strength in the game is the graphics and appeal of the animation. You've managed to get a sort of Nintendo-ish feeling with the cute sound effects and colorful backgrounds, you know what I mean?

Anybody could have come up with this concept, but you've got a knack for making your games unique. The screen shaking when you get a high score, the little messages at the bottom after a round ends, the smooth and flowing animations - It all comes together for a pleasing presentation and really shows off the fact that you didn't rush through production to get the game done as fast as you could. I can tell you probably had a lot of fun creating this. I honestly can't wait to see what other games you come up with in the future :)

There were really only 2 negatives I can think of besides the game being a bit lacking in depth. (I know its only meant to be a fun little game though). 1) A restart button would have been nice for when you are doing bad and don't want to finish the round. 2) The English translation could have been a bit better. I noticed a few awkward sounding sentences, but its nothing huge.

Besides that, I loved everything! Especially Bad-Atom's "Door Number 3" that plays in the ABC round. It created the perfect atmosphere :)

Keep it up!

I can't say how thankful I am for this review, and even more motivated to continue developing games in this style!

About the negatives, I've added a hotkey for quick restart on any level, 'F1', but it looks like I didn't make it clear that it exists (you can check the keys clicking on the main menu's question mark). I'll find a way to clarify this and improve the english sentences.

Once again, thank you very much!

its pretty good for someone who is trying to learn to type or to increase their speed, though i would have to agree the U and the V look really similar.

I also didn't recognise that my song was playing at first lol, thats a first

grpires responds:

I think your song was the one that fitted the stage the best :) Hope you liked the game where it is inserted!

I'm hoping it helps people increase their typing skills :)

Great but...

Similar to Madwon, I had a little bit trouble telling the difference between the V and the U...

grpires responds:

This has been reported to some people... I don't think there's a pixelated font that makes it easy to tell the difference between these two letters, though. You get used to it after some time.

Hope you had fun with the game!
