This is the most offensive narrative I have ever seen. You might as well teach players to throw babies into a blender and drink them before offing themselves, because that's how morally detestable and ignorant this story is.
Suicide is not an answer to anything, it is a coward's attempt at running away from his/her problems. In my opinion, you failed to make something as simple as an art game. Good job. Next time you write a story, try injecting a good message instead of a harmful one.

It seems you want the player to be emotionally involved in this game, but honestly there isn't much here.Somebody dies and the guy is lonely; the title sums up the entire plot and the "message" feels unnecessarily forced into being "deep" when really it's just a guy walking off a cliff.
Gameplay? There simply is none. Having minimal player interaction doesn't make a game "art".
As far as graphics go, the 8-bit approach is fun, but inappropriate, adding very little. The font doesn't always match the rest of the style and I just can't take it seriously.
I get the sense you wanted to make something thought-provoking, but it comes across as weak with half-baked hints of pretentiousness.
More interactivity and real gameplay elements could have let this shine a bit more.

You get a medal for dying and a message that tells you to kill yourself instead of moving on without your dead girlfriend. I can't say anything good about this.

Can a game be so bad that it is insulting to society? YES IT CAN! THIS right here... is a GLARING example on how it is so insulting... primarily the moral.
So everyone what this game says is that if your girlfriend dies, KILL YOURSELF. I'm pretty sure that's not the most SELFISH thing to do. It's not like you can move on from it. This is why I despise newgrounds. Shit like this has been rated FIVE stars by morons that don't know ANYTHING about how the world works.
