motherload
Motherload is better my posterior! At least this game doesn't kill you for jumping too high or stunlock you with it's ambigous structure till you run out of fuel.

Mega Addictive Mining Action
Aside from reviews with "MotherLoad" reference I will give some suggestions:
- As someone already said, gravity would be more fun.
- Give it a story context to give more diversity to the game.
- The map should be upgradeable so I could see more of the entire land or see some treasures blinking (something to it I don't know).
- As someone also already stated the engine should have upgrades (the pod had to go slowly in the beginning).
- Liquids (like lava, water or something else) would make a difference.
- Trapped gases in some rocks or spaces could explode or having some other effect on the pod.
- Create some sort of dangerous creature to roam the tunnels (the player would had to escape or kill it with the drill (it is just an idea)).
I'm sure I could have more ideas but overall for a free game this game is almost there.
Would be great if a sequel was in the way. If it is make sure it's best than "MotherLoad - Goldium Edition".
Cheers and good luck for your next game projects.

Lots of ripoff, but some improvements
Of course this is just like Motherlode, but I think you did some stuff better. I particularly like the teleport system being two-way. That made it tons easier to set up underground and clear areas. The mini-quests were well done, and the pacing of the game and prices of upgrades work well.
That said, a few more things would help... one of them being something you forgot to steal from ML. There needs to be a way to drop items from your cargo, since you can't get around less valuable deposits. I found dynamite prohibitively expensive at first, but later it made sense.
All told, I had a good time finishing everything in a few hours, and there is not much replay value. Addictive, but hollow.

Mother Load Ripoff is being generous
Are you seriously gonna rate reviews like this as worthless?
Cause this game blows, big time. It is a blatant rip off of a much better game that is not only shamelessly derivative, but also... a festering pile of shit. The game should be easily broken by mining the wrong blocks from underneath, but your lazy navigation system fixes that fortunately enough for you. The ship being controlled on a basic grid system unlike Mother Load's own navigation system makes the game far to easy. Remember part of the fun of that game was the challenge of maneuvering your ship around; something that this game completely missed by letting you mine blocks above you.
I'm not saying that I would never play a game that was obviously inspired, or even a rip off of another game, but it has to be GOOD. Your work could be inspired by the statue of David, but if you made it out of shit that doesn't mean it's just as good.
Try again, and this time make Mother Load + your OWN originality, not Mother Load - everything that made it fun because you suck at making games.
