Alight is a platformer that mixes exploration and reflexes and more than a little story. Move with the arrow keys, fly with the space bar or up arrow. If you find yourself having trouble getting much altitude, trying pressing the space bar at a slower pace until you find the right rhythm. And remember that you can always drop down out of a flock of birds without using a flap of your wings with the down arrow key.
Every time you enter a door, your game is automatically saved, and you can replay a level at any point.

Havent logged in in years.. had to review.
This game is pretty awesome man. very artistic. yes the engine isnt cutting edge and the game felt slow. but real games, and good games arent action packed and bloody. Real games are works of art. and this game was a work of art. the smoke dialogue was awesome. thoughts going through the characters head as they progressed through memories and dreams. This reminded me a lot of a very popular game called Cloud. This game was solid. great music, great artistic value, its obvious you were going for art on this game. so graphics and engine arent important. The controls were simple. a gorrila could play this game effectively. Great game man.

Attn all flash "artists": STOP USING FLIXL
I'm dead serious about this. That engine? It's not that good. Every game made with it has the same looks and bad controls. Stop using it. Get off your butt, and program your own game. Maybe then, you'll spend some time actually thinking about how to make it enjoyable.

Not too many games like this out there.
At first I wasn't sure what to think of it. It was a little basic, and a bit slow for my taste... But patience truly pays off in this one, as the story is what really kept me going. (As depressing as it may be.)
The best thing about this is that I couldn't help myself from getting emotional at times. Which is a huge thing for a flash game to accomplish in my book. I loved the way the story was told and how everything was wrapped up so nicely at the end. With a bit of a twist, even. I've gotta say, for the most part, I was really satisfied when I completed it. I've ever played a game that's made me feel the way this one has.
5/5 - 10/10 Excellent job.

A great excuse to use the same scenery repeatedly
Bad controls, numbing puzzles, unenjoyable monotony. Someone needs to explain to that when you make a game and try to make it artsy, flesh out the mechanics and playability first.
