Edit: Fixed the audio. I guess I just don't understand cats.

Technical stuff: Done in Flash 8, at 24 fps almost entirely on one ones with next to no tweening for character animations. Everything was redrawn and re laid out with no tracing. Animated with symbols, no fbf drawing for the most part.

The idea: take the intro to MLP: FiM, and remake it with girls instead of ponies using the same constraints with characters and animation that the show has, which is why they all have the same basic shapes. When I started I planned to try and mimic the style of Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls, but I think ultimately I think I landed closer to Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. I hope you like it either way.

Theme is copyright to the show and hasbro and stuff.

I feel like the human versions of them could have been done better. For example Rainbow Dash can fly without wings or anything and Twilight can teleport (with magic I know, but still). I feel as though the character designs could have been done better which would have really made the animation good. On a good note I liked the overall smoothness of the animation and how it felt like it was just a simple remake of the original (which it is). I just feel a few character-design remakes would have made it a lot better. Like adding wings to Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, and adding a simple horn to Twilight, Rarity, and so forth. But I did like it overall.
