DimWitDog; Animation I made. Me and my boyfriends fursona. Blah blah blah.

The music was made by my boyfriend.

Psychopath; Somnolence is a story based around Naomi Zipf [DimWitDog] and her boyfriend Wes Templeman [Nos] whom of which she shares a long distance relationship over the internet; Somnolence details the experience of a relationship over the internet by comparing and/or depicting the experience with astral projection; to depict only a simulation of being together, only to awaken to the harsh reality that they're miles apart.

PROGRAMMING:

I installed the preloader, the Youtube link, the keyboard based controls, the links to our accounts, the paypal donate/tip jar buttons, the flash ads and most complex of all, the CFC "quick list" application; a rotary controlled list of works created by the CrapFlashCrew's members and DimWitDog.

CONTENT:

Although I had no hand in editing the actual content, I had to tweak and edit multiple cuts of what would eventually be the FLV currently in use in order to optimize the quality to it's absolute greatest lengths without breaching Newgrounds' file size limitations, even to the extent of capturing the original FLV frame by frame with a photo capture option in the software I was using, croping it and creating an all new, fresh FLV from it. The end credit sequence was also edited by extending it and increasing it's proportion levels to match that of the content afore mentioned.

Nice

That was pretty touching, actually. Sad too.

Really good.

Short. Sweet. Simple. You know that you've done your job right when you're able to convey what you wanted powerfully and concisely. The animation was pretty good. Kinda blurry, I don't know why.

Props.

Way better than that pig thing

Unlike the other crap, this actually has substance, and I'm not just praising it for it's hard work but rather the result. FLV's can be usefull, but I just can't help but feel that it'll severly hold this submission back. Pity really.

I gotta say though, it doesn't really make sense that both subs have the same icon, 'cause they're not the same sub. The only difference is that one of them is more cropped looking than the other.

Peace.

Great movie.

The animation was nice and smooth. Didn't you tell me that the FPS was something like 25? Anyways, the only nit picks I have is that there's no shading and that it's an FLV. Shame that you couldn't use the original footage.

But besides that, the ads need to activate already. I've always hated that, the part where it takes 3 days, that's fine, I understand, there's a schedule to keep. But what I hate about it is how difficult it is to budget your timing with that, because since the Admins won't approve of the ads running until they see the content, you have to upload before they give approval or disapproval. The only problem with that is that if you upload too long before the Mods notice you, you've sunk into complete obscurity rendering the ads completely and utterly useless anyways. Since there is no definite time where you can predict the mods clicking the ads, it's a stab in the fucking dark.

Remember when we uploaded my movie and how long it took before the admins approved of it running ads? We didn't make a dime.

Whoops

The review I intended for this movie ended up in the "Happy Little Piglet" submission. Those mods or admins or whatever, seriously need to fix that stupid image glitch. Better yet, make it to where file swapping images for movies is a doable feature. They allow it for most of everything else, so why not.

Anyways, I love the metaphore you used to describe the long distance relationship with. I hope this gets the daily feature, 'cause I can tell that you both invested a lot of work into this and you guys deserve it.
