Classic top-down shooter with stat building and parts customization!
Multiple planets to see, weapons to collect, and big bosses to fight.
High scores and Medals available!

In the works since July 2010, the top-down shooter genre has been something I've always wanted to cover. Big thanks to Hyptosis and Kelwyshade for their art and music, otherwise I'd still be stuck with an unpolished engine. I think we ended up with a solid product, hope you enjoy!

Pretty well-made.

It's a nice little shoot-'em-up. Good graphics, Solid gameplay, some nice music, and medals for those achievement-earning junkies out there. I'm not gonna ramp and rage like the others that the game is dry, though I will say it's a tad repeditive. And I'd gripe at the fact that the ship runs a tad slow, and that enemies do a little too much damage for comfort. But like I said, good game, good music, and overall, good job.

While I'm at it, I have a few little tips for other players out there. Through a little experimentation, I've found a tops-down super efficient way to pedal through heavy groups. I'm Calling it the rubber wall strategy. For players that haven't reached the third world in the game, you might wanna do so, considering these weapons don't become available to you until planet 3. To those that have, listen up.

you start with buying 2 rubber cannons and 1 weapon of choice. Next, place the cannons at the weapons 1 and 3 positions, and rotate them to an even or so 45 degrees (Though if you feel so you can rotate them to any angle you wish). When all that's set up, try it out on a wave of baddies.

Now, the rubber cannons, as you can well imagine, have a unique ability where their bullets rebound off the walls. by rotating them to a diagonal angle, the bullets repeatedly rebound off the walls, creating a nearly impossible to avoid stream of bullets. This can help you slam through any wave af annoying enemies. It does have it's downsides, as to the fact it might not be as well efficieant against bosses. and with the giant stream of bullets, it's hard to see and bullets that are getting shot at YOU, so there's that. And I must point out that the bullets don't rebound FOREVER, so it's best not to rotate them too far, otherwise the rubber wall is useless. But I'll also point out that if you were to get to the fourth planet, and earn your last weapon slot, you could buy 2 more rubber cannons to make for a SECOND rubber wall! Cool, huh?

Hope this helps. Good luck, and happy gaming!

Classic Yet Addictive

Its An AWESOME Game But The Backround, Its Kinda Too Crowded And When It Moves Fast, It Kinda Hurts My Eyes.

It can have some improvements. Id look through the structure of some other classic shooters and see how they did it. One thing you could do is make the "leave area" option work.

It's ok for this type of game.

Needs power ups as you play. Sides that it's very original with how you can buy different weapons and so on.
I think the big issue though that you're gana get from our critics and everyone keep in mind that there are ALOT of these types of games. Don't prejudge this.

Its called a challenge

and this game brings one well. My ships moves vertically, horizontally, and diagonally. Its a wide ship and that just makes me quicker to avoid gun fire. Dont be mad because this game is a bit hard, because it is definitely playable and there have been harder games. This game is t he type of hard that warrants replay, and while it isnt "deep" its isnt mindless difficulty, and that goes with respect ^w^
