The long awaited addition to the "C. Crashing" series is finally here! The Castle Crashers must save the princess from the Conehead Groom, who is forcing her to marry him! Or is he? Watch to find out!

I can't believe this is finally done, I started working on the script of this thing MONTHS ago, and school got in the middle so it took forever to finish, but I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. One thing to note, though, is that my original intentions were to also include the "Parade" level, but the flash dragged for too long, and the sound kept going off sync as it played (I'll make a news post about that at some point) so I decided to only include the "Wedding Crash" level. Still, the file size is quite large, but please be patient, I promise it will be worth it.

In case you're confused with what the flash is about: Castle Crashers is an xbla and psn game, in one of the levels, you have to save a princess who is forced to marry, but to give the flash a twist, instead of that, I made it so that the princess actually wanted to get married, but the Castle Crashers didn't know that. Problems ensue!

Well, I hope you enjoy the flash. When you're done watching it you may want to check out the other C. Crashing animations, I put links in the main menu. And also, if you liked it, recommending it for the Castle Crashers collection would be very nice of you. With nothing more to say, dim the lights, bring some snacks and enjoy the movie!

Cool sequel

it would be awesome to have those powers in the real game, and im guessing the reason you made the princess white instead of black is because you wanted to follow the story/game where the characters dont really talk...or you just forgot...

alfa995 responds:

I used a little bit lighter tone of brown, but I think the white gradient and lighting effects I used made her look even brighter.

good animation

but i am seriously getting tired of Rina-chan voicing like EVERY female character on NG. She's not even a pro, just popular. There are many other fishes in the sea you know.

alfa995 responds:

Rina-chan voiced the character in the actual Castle Crashers game, if she's available, why choose another actress? And as a side note: the plural of "fish" is "fish" as far as I know. xD

Poor Conehead...

I thought it was a great animation, and it was made even better by having Kira Buckland reprise her role as the Castle Crashers princess. I love the personalities and the conversations without actually using words. There seemed to be less action in this one, but what was there greatly improved.
I also enjoyed the "voluntary" and "giant food" parts. Kira's "Help me" at the end of the video sounded exactly like it did in the actual game, and the whole thing was just put together wonderfully. This is my favorite of all the Crashings so far.

but wasn't this princess supposed to be black?

alfa995 responds:

I tried to draw it as similar to Dan Paladin's style, but it looked creepy instead of pretty. So I changed the eyes, haircut, tone of brown and anatomical proportions. It's more like an original character based off the one in the game, you could say.

You've improved greatly!

I have to admit, this was really entertaining! I have two suggestions.
1. When you animate the battles, try to show several of the Crashers attempting to attack at once if possible. In the game usually more than one would be attacking, and it also emphasizes the fact that it's a boss.
2. When the Crashers fight they all have personalities, and I like that. Though, it would be cool to see different weapons, more pets, and characters every once and awhile, maybe a side series branched off of this using different characters.
Overall full everything.
