The Newgrounds (Xin Di) internet webpage company present an informative series on the teaching of a Chinese Language. He is very simple, so lazy American people can learn this useful world language.
These lesson is for the Mandarin (world language), not Cantonese (the People's language).
Chinese for Lazy American People
Lesson 1 : The important Chinese Tone.

10,000 thank you for Front Page ... Chinagrounds is good place to learn important lesson.
It comes down to this... American is in debt and Chinese people will take over. OH THE HUMANITY!!!
I noticed the text was actually Traditional, not Simplified. It was nice comic relief from Chinese School!
Educational and sarcastic.
Submissions like this should be made mandatory for people learning to speak languages, or even if they interact with non-english speakers.
My unpopular opinion
You said you wanted to hear from Asians, so I am now writing a review.
As a Chinese-American, I'm sort of unsure what I should think of this. On one hand, you're using the stereotypical Engrish that the media has always used to characterize Asians. On the other, you claim you're legitimately teaching the language (I've never spoken Chinese in my life, sadly, so I don't know).
The entire flash is carried by your voice, which, honestly, made me cringe here. You're a talented guy, and you've got style (and your voice) on your side. You also seem pretty nice, and you've evidently done commercial work before. So I'm baffled as to why you would do this. It seems clear that this wasn't intended to be taken seriously, so why even bother with an actual lesson? Is it to teach people who are suspicious of the Chinese and who need knowledge of the language to meet a job requirement? I'm just kind of disbelieving. I think it's weird that you'd do this.
I'm going to try to set aside emotions enough to write a fair review, though. This is one of those "love it or hate it" things. I feel like I'm leaning more toward the latter, but it's clear you did put effort into this, so I'm giving you a score somewhere in the middle. Like I said before, your voice (and sense of humor) definitely carries this, and ties in to the "love it or hate it" thing (didn't know how else to phrase that). You take that away, and it's admittedly pretty bland. So I guess if you're making an instructional video, the best way to get attention is to blow the concept entirely out of proportion and give it some personality. Which is what you did. I wouldn't have been able to sit through the entire thing if you'd just used a regular voice, so props for that, I guess (NG is still just for entertainment IMO, and being offensive is better than not being noticeable at all). The humor just wasn't there for me, though (obviously). I don't want to go in-depth on WHY it doesn't appeal to me, but you can probably figure that out.
So you had a decent presentation for what it was. I think it was definitely lacking artistically, but your voice pulled it through and made it stand out, for better or for worse.
Of course, I'm over analyzing the entire thing. It's just a flash and a good-natured jab in the ribs for those of us who are Asian. I'm aware that this review is already the butt of the joke, but you were asking for it. I'll get out of your hair now. Have a great day.
Totally understood. What's funny is that my non Asian friends were concerned I was being racist towards non Asians. So for me, that's the goal. Poke fun at all while teaching a lesson.
Which bums me out the your thorough review doesn't really mention the quality of the education of the lesson.
I think Chinese people who speak it will appreciate it most actually, because there's a lot inside jokes :)
