This is the story of a simple robot in search of 4 items that can control the elements of the earth to save the world from evil forces, explore lands and magical places protected by the keepers of the elements and fight the final boss in this game fantastic created in pixel art.

Other instructions:
For the mini-game of the key uses the arrow keys to move the key, avoid the black cube and reach the green flashing panel.

Pretty Good!

The art was good, music was fine. It just needs to be a bit longer.
In the boss part, there's no way to dodge the horizontal attack(or is there?)
But, I liked it! 4/5

Thanks and I'm glad you liked the game, some arrows that the boss shot to you can not avoid them, I have done to make the game more difficult.

It stinks!

I've gotta give you some credit for at least keep a consistent look. The problem is it was an awful look. The control scheme was horribly convoluted for anyone who is right-handed and at least likes to use WASD to move when you also have to use the mouse to click through every line of obviously hastily-written dialogue. The story was less than coherent, the gameplay didn't make up for it, and there was nothing artistic about it. You seemed to be trying to make this into too many types of games. The problem is it was so busy that none of them came close to working.
Keep trying, but don't try something like this again.

thanks for the criticism, your review was very helpful

Not that good

At first I was disappointed because I thought it was going to be too easy. Now I realize that it actually is a lot harder than it looks. It doesn't help that the graphics are cheesy, but that was probably the whole point of this. Well, this is my first review for Robot Day 2011. I suggest that next time you put in a lot more detail into the characters and don't make it so easy to die. Those purple things reminded me of the "Shadow The Hedgehog" video game.

The music wasn't half bad, but did get a bit irritating. It's also annoying with how the background in each area is basically the same. At least you provided checkpoints and the first couple parts of it are easy enough. The robot's design itself isn't half bad. Just also try to make the robot smaller, so it doesn't clutter up the whole screen.

Thanks for your review and for your advice, you're right about some of the flaws of the game so I will try to improve.

The art looks pretty good and have an interesting story, the levels are smooth--although I don't enjoyed at all some of the "key-door" levels, they are too hard. Keep up the good work! :)
