TOFA 2011 The Tournament of Flash Artists!
Author Comments
This is my entry for Round 2 of the Tournament of Flash Animators (TOFA) 2011. The theme was "Wrongfully Accused".
Finally! I thought of a short entry! My other two entries were 3 minutes and 7 minutes respectively. Thanks to this entries short length, I was able to spend more time on the animation. I believe this is my best ANIMATED piece of TOFA so far (plot still goes to "Lost Heart, Found Danger", but the animation here definitely kick ass!) I also have a digital painting that I shall upload to the Art Portal shortly after posting this, part of it is in the credits. Hope you enjoy!

Godzilla and Jurassic Fart
lmao, that was cute but I recognized all the references from Godzilla and Jurassic Park. Just had me thinking Jurassic Park and Godzilla the whole time I was watching it. Nice animation...fluid and smooth.
I actually took alot of reference from both of those on purpose. Well... the Portrait during the credits was direct Homage to that famous scene from Jurassic Park, but Sarthak in general is mainly a T-Rex with longer, monster like arms and a fin to make him a sea monster. I've always been obsessed with Dinosaurs ("Dinosaur" was actually my first word!) yet I've never been able to animate one until (sort of) now lol. I didn't want his face to look too common, so I reference the American Godzilla movie because I liked the "large lower chin" thing they did with him. I'm sensing some hostility towards Jurassic Park O.O; so Ill stray from that topic lol, but Im glad you enjoyed it!

I like it
+Really good animation style, the story has a good flow and I like how we also get tricked at the end. But People are just like "A huge monster is eating people. Aha it is just Sarthak :)" Love that :)

oh man
I loved this exactly how i loved "Lost Heart, Found Danger". I love your animation skills and your humor too. I realy enjoyed it. It's almost perfect.
I'm sorry i don't give you a 10/10 because of some animators who are just a little better like Adam Phillips and his "The last of the dashkin". But you did a great work.
Impatient to see more.
Ps : Lost heart, Found danger, was excellent, better than when you try to make laugh, there was an wonderfull ambiance, when I watched it I realy was INTO your flash. It's just awesome, should be in the top 50 for me... It's actually MUCH MUCH better than the actual number one : "Bunnykill" because it doens't telle any story... just a gun fighting shit compared to story like yours.
Have a nice day dude, and keep it up, realy
