Story of the Blanks is a short creepypasta-game based on FiM and created in Adobe Flash. It was created for a game developing contest at Equestria Gaming

The game is constrained to use genuine NES graphics and graphical limitations (down to the very 8 sprites per line limitation). Most if not all the music in the game was created by various people using famitracker (a NES/famicon tracker).

Ponies, the New Animal Meme. :3
I tried this game out just to see what the fuss is with ponies, why everyone is obsessed with them and stuff, and I was just blown away at the sheer quality of this game. The retro music, awesome 8-bit sprites, and compelling story and gameplay kept me going. This is definitely a gem in the huge pile of crappy games that Newgrounds is full of. Awesome job bro. :D

I'm not a Brony, but that was very, VERY well done! At first, I expected it to be a "fluffy-wuffy", "kid-friendly" 8-bit NES-esque game that I could easily breeze through within a matter of minutes. To my surprise, it turned out to be a creepy and fun dark ride! It was also certainly no walk in the park in terms of its difficulty, especially near the end (truthfully, I got stuck at the dark village segment of the game, until I realized that I had to find an alternate way out). The nightmarish atmosphere also reminded me of the Silent Hill series, in terms of the fact that it seemed to be a calm and pleasant village until the darkness arrived. Being a fan of the SH franchise, I truly enjoyed that part and it actually managed to creep me out! Sure, it was quite short, but I was still thoroughly entertained. Excellent job!

This was pretty well done.
Nice and slightly creepy. I rather liked it. I think the chase scenes should be harder though that way it seems more tense, like you just narrowly avoid getting caught.
