Story of the Blanks is a short creepypasta-game based on FiM and created in Adobe Flash. It was created for a game developing contest at Equestria Gaming

The game is constrained to use genuine NES graphics and graphical limitations (down to the very 8 sprites per line limitation). Most if not all the music in the game was created by various people using famitracker (a NES/famicon tracker).

the story gives you something to think about/build on in fanfics (if somepony felt the need to) (yes, i actually said "somepony.... fight me).
the lack of contractions made some of the characters seem incredibly robotic.... for example, replace "do not" with "don't". i hate being a grammar nazi but this is one of the rare cases where grammar made the characters seem out of place/not cannon.
i kinda wished the game was a little longer at first but, with a very satisfying ending i cant really complain.

This game was Directly based off the fanfiction "The Lost Element" by XD-385 If you go to chapter 8 you will find it tells you about sunny town. What happened was they had killed ruby because they did not know what a cutie mark was and she got hers when she found the ruby for that stallion. When she did they saw it as a curse and burned her to death in a shack. Luna hated that this all happened at night and casts a curse on them causing them all to relive the night over and over.
Mitta is the only one remorsefull for what they did though she did not take part. She eventually is saved with the help of the human protaganist who brings her to luna and nightmare moon who both decide to forgive her. The story was a very good read. Definitely worth the time.
Although i wish james the hooman was here :(.
