First of all, this contains sticks, don't watch it if you don't like sticks etc.

This is my entry for round one of the RHG tournament at fluidanims. I was fighting oxob3000, his character has some sort of chargeable electric powerfist, my character has a glaive and regenerating powers + transforming into fog.

Right, so there are areas I neglected and refurbished backgrounds in this, but overall I'm happy that I managed to eek out this animation while juggling final exams and graduating in the process.

Splendid

Frankly, the lack of sound effects has an added effect in its own right. The music went beautifully. The fighting was great too. And knowing you had to juggle exams makes me impressed to say the least. Definitely great.
I'd like to see this get serious, with VA and storyline and whatnot. But hey, all I can do is wait.

Thanks a lot!

As for making a really long and serious project out of this, I'm liking the idea, but I doubt I'll be able to do that seeing as I have essentially no ability to make good stories. It would be cool however.

For now you'll have to settle with the next round of mindless action. I'll try to keep up an interesting atmosphere at least.

Question.

This is good but i always wondered. How do you decide who wins? Do you just make up a victim or do you and another person flip a coin to see who wins? I'd really like to know.

Normally, I make an entry where I win, he makes an entry where he wins, people vote on which one was best, the person with the most votes wins. In the tournament, the judges determine who wins instead of the public but we still make one battle each.
