New version with persistent upgrades!
You have to start from the beginning to play with persistent upgrades. Just clear your profile to play from the beginning (Main Menu->Clear Profile->Clear)
For anyone who already has a progress and wants to continue with old mechanic: just continue :)

I've spent a year for development of this game. I hope you will find it satisfactory :)
It is my first flash game (but not first game at all).

Freezes

It would have been a great game, but half-way through a wave, after I upgraded something, I couldn't fire anymore (see "fucian"'s comment a few below mine). The game was receiving keystrokes, but not detecting the mouse at all. (I didn't take away stars for that.)

Other than that, it was a nice game. It was a bit slow as defense games go, but that allows the player time to decide a strategy against the oncoming waves, particularly since the number of possible weapon-combinations kept increasing. It kept my interest. I thought the upgrades were a little wonky, though: I would click a Lvl2 upgrade for one item and the price of ALL Lvl2 upgrades for anything else would also increase exponentially. Odd. Keep working on it, I think, but it's a good start.

Could've been better

1) Tutorial is annoying like hell.
Why am I being force to spent all of my points to something that I don't even need just so the tutorial could disappear? Also, sometimes it locked the upgrades on other things I need.
2) Gaining free energy should've been easier.
After I've lost most of my points on upgrading what I don't need, I can't replay the old mission and expect it to give me the free energy point much enough to replace it. Apparently, if you play it on the same difficulty you did, you'll lost your latest upgrades & returned to the starting set up you have for that mission.
3) Bug?
On mission 5, after I've spent my points (on something I don't even need because the tutorial force me to and locked the stuff I want to upgrade), I can't do anything but to watch I lost the mission because it seems the game just want me to watch myself lost the mission by not letting me play or do anything in order to stop the enemies from reaching the silos.

It's good for a time waste, nothing more.

Missing 1 thing

Since this is a twr defense game...eh i didn't see any twrs, maybe u should add twrs that can shoot to and not only u. U place ur defenses on the 2 roads they come from the top then u replace, they come from the bot etc...the crushual part that's missing are towers that can do the job for u, like the homing missile, maybe some gatling towers too. It's really hard to click on the every enemy the replace ur defenses...Overall i like the game, really like the marks on the ground when things explode, graphics are ok. This realy is a unique tower defense game, a one that i actually like be cause it steps away from the boring placing towers and beg that they don't pass. But the lack of self-fiering towers...meh 7/10 4//5.
