I am thoroughly convinced everything level 16 and above is literally impossible on blind mode. There is no logistical possibility of outmatching their base production of ships, so what chance do I have? This has gotten me very frustrated, because I've beaten the game multiple times and loved it, but have found that on these levels on this difficulty there is no possibility of winning, I am convinced. For instance, on the Awakening, even if I do control every planet as a result of bum-rushing them for captures, I am still outproduced and outnumbered on each planet, so I am stuck with my manufacturing and the mother ship can just churn out warships like nothing. It's insane!

That said, I loved everything else about the game. I would definitely like to see a sequel, perhaps with construction options for colonized planets or for different types of warships.

Played it on armorgames

Here's what i thought. I thought it was a very well done game, quite a LOT like starbaron, except it didn't lag me to tears towards the end. It did have it's own frustrations however.

The motherships produce 2 or 3 to your 1 or 2 ships so it's hard to get a foothold early on, however not impossible. Took a decent number of restarts but it can be done.

Overall it's a good game. I would enjoy seeing a sandbox mode, and perhaps some other options, such as building on colonized planets to create different ships, or upgraded weapons, and whatnot.

A level editor would be kinda cool too. I'm sure these suggestions are a lot of coding, but for what it's worth, that's what i think would improve the game.

don't change the difficulty. no need. it IS frustrating but the feeling of accomplishment after finding a strategy that works is worth it. 8/5. I've gotta tack off two points because this is basically starbaron without the star types, but with nicer graphics and some other nifty gadgets (warps, laser satellites. shipyards, which actually make up for the lack of star types and limits the sprite number to reduce the resources it uses on a persons computer). but yea. Sandbox mode, or level editor. . .or both :D
