Fun gameplay, no story.

This has fairly solid gameplay, but to be honest, it gets repetitive and there's nothing beyond a "you're an assassin from the future" excuse-plot. No ending or anything, and no new mechanics later on, just increased difficulty.

If there was a story, this'd be a 10. Smooth implementation of gameplay mechanics, though.

Great but...

There's quite a few problems that really ruins some of the gameplay. It seems as if you tried too hard to make this game difficult in certain areas. I made it up to Professional and finished the first mission. The guards seem aware of your position as soon as you begin moving. I also noticed that each time you move their range gets wider which makes it difficult to understand where they can see or would see with each move. A lot of times I found myself going invisible for nothing because the guards would actually walk into a spot like the wall. I would understand if they saw me running into a room, but that wasn't the case. A recommendation I would make for the sequel if there ever is one, let the player be able to kill guards from behind with the knife, it would make sense that we can't kill a guard from in front because of their guns. There could be more than one target too, which I would find very fun.

I found myself playing this game for over an hour, this game is somewhat addicting yet simple to understand which is very good. The graphics are pretty nice, and although there is a lack of storyline I could just use my head if I want more amusement. The sounds during gameplay were really good, I kept thinking cars were honking outside of my house. Overall the game was well put together, fun, enjoyable, but I really hope for another sequel with improvements, just don't go overboard. You don't need to make this game flashy, maybe a quick storyline with briefings before each mission, without vocal dialog. Keep the gameplay the same, just with a FEW changes, fairness, ability to kill guards from behind, not having their ranges stretch each time we take a step, and finally not letting the target be able to notice you're invisible. Thank you for making this game, and hope you read this review.

Quite nice

This is quite a funny game. However, I'd recommand you add a few new things. For example: smoke/flash grenades or other devices to lure the guards to a diffrent place, or make your escape. Guards should also be smarter. I mean, they walk the wrong direction, while my bloodred footprints clearly show where I went.

Even though a good lot of people want the guards killable, I'd recommand you not to. An assassin is hired to kill one specific person. No real assassins kill everything else along the way. Not only it's not logic, it also greatly unbalances the game, making it a piece of cake.

A final note: some of the messages the guards shouted didn't have capital letters at the start of the sentence. Also, if guards walked to the edge of the screen, the messages couldn't be seen. Try doing something that changes their position if that occurs.

Artwork: nothing special, but looks good enough. The assassin in the menu looked quite good, however.
Animation: ith an exception of the menu screen (where the assassin's breathing movement was quite choppy), everything went quite choppy.
Gameplay: Quite fun. However, some things are unrealistic and a few additions should be added.
Sound: Music was quite fitting, and if you listened carefully, you could also hear street sounds on the background when playing. You've done good on this part.

Alltogether, I think an 8 is quite fitting for this game.
