Once Coma was completed, I figured I would make another game just for kicks. It turned out this game took up more of my time than two semesters of college. Anyways, I hope everyone here at NG has fun playing :)


Also, what's always fun is discussing your thoughts on the meaning of the game. I sure know what it means, but what about you?

UPDATES/BUGS (upon update approval from NG staff):
1) Both ASWD and Arrow Keys will work.
2) No more getting stuck behind doors.
3) Easier game-play experience.
4) As for those of you experiencing sticky keys in Internet Explorer, a friendly user called bubblecue says
the simple solution is to go to the tools tab on internet explorer and click on internet options. Then you click on the security tab and uncheck enable protected mode and then click ok. turn back your protected mode when you are done playing. Hope that works!

I got stuck too :(

I got stuck between two lights and I know that theres a button up there but I can't get up there for some reason, the wall jumping skill won't work. Fix this, please.

I've stucked on the 2-nd level, locked by the yellow door, in a very small chamber with only blue switch in it. Had to restart the game, from the last savepoint.. The savesystem is bad too, BTW.
Be more careful, when designing a levels.

Yeah, good game...

I spent a lot of time playing it and it was very enjoyable... great sounds... beautiful visuals... And after spending SO MUCH TIME getting all three secret items, I couldn't wait to get a reward... Only to receive no 'real' ending and the rolling credits..

You really know how to piss people off. Fuck you.

Missing some parts

You achieve a lot of what a good flash platformer is all about in this game, but what I need to point out is that you left a lot of things not done. The controls are smooth (once you fix the sticky keys thing), but after the arms, the upgrades just felt uninspired. You excell in creating a strong atmosphere, but I'm thrown out of it every time I hear that girl scream again (despite the fact that she's seen me exactly 1 million times by now).

But the worst offence of all is that there was NO ENDING. And don't give me any of that "take your own meaning from it" crap. You built up the entire game to this confrontaion with Mama, and then you just cut it off? That is unacceptable. Letting the player write their own story, and giving them the choice on whether to leave her alive or kill her would have been your best course of action, but I would have even settled for just a straight boss fight or a bettle you couldn't win (if you still want to go the artsy route with this). However, not giving me anything at all isn't just disappointing; it's lazy. And yes, I realize you spent over two sememsters putting this together, but that only counts for so much. Duke Nukem Forever was in development for 12 years, and look how that turned out.

I don't know exactly what we have here, but I know it's incomplete. A story has a beginning, middle, and an end. A game has a tutorial, metagame, and ultimate goal. This is 2/3 of a story, 2/3 of a game, and therefore, you get 2/3 of a full score. Better luck next time.
