*Thanks to everyone who helped give Skinny a Daily First Place! :D
**Thank you Tom and the rest of the NG staff for the Front Page!

Once Coma was completed, I figured I would make another game just for kicks. It turned out this game took up more of my time than two semesters of college. Anyways, I hope everyone here at NG has fun playing :)

Thanks!
-Thomas

Also, what's always fun is discussing your thoughts on the meaning of the game. I sure know what it means, but what about you?

UPDATES/BUGS (upon update approval from NG staff):
1) Both ASWD and Arrow Keys will work.
2) No more getting stuck behind doors.
3) Easier game-play experience.
4) As for those of you experiencing sticky keys in Internet Explorer, a friendly user called bubblecue says
the simple solution is to go to the tools tab on internet explorer and click on internet options. Then you click on the security tab and uncheck enable protected mode and then click ok. turn back your protected mode when you are done playing. Hope that works!

Brilliant game!

This is great! Nice idea, excellent gameplay, and love the story! I do have one bad thing to say though; the damn lights that DON'T stay on in Felix's secret room, where you need to get 3 batteries. ARGH that was annoying!

Compelling Story, Decent Puzzles

The atmosphere granted by the art style and delivery of information sets this game above many others. At it's best you never really notice that the puzzles aren't massively complex. The exact right mix of story telling and puzzle difficulty means that neither detracts from the other, creating an intriguing and genuinely interesting world.

I particularly like how the story is left to interpretation, opening up the opportunity for a matrix like 'The game is all within The System, and once you finish you go back to the beginning, literally' kind of ideology, without forcing it down your neck.

Yeah, good game...

I spent a lot of time playing it and it was very enjoyable... great sounds... beautiful visuals... And after spending SO MUCH TIME getting all three secret items, I couldn't wait to get a reward... Only to receive no 'real' ending and the rolling credits..

You really know how to piss people off. Fuck you.

I think I could really enjoy this game...

...if the controls weren't so infuriatingly buggy. It looks and sounds beautiful, but every action from walking and jumping to shooting the claw glitches on a regular basis. Half of my button presses and mouse clicks are completely unresponsive.

First, Skinny won't stop walking. Then he won't jump or shoot the claw, but when he finally decides to do it the same command happens repeatedly. Watching him jump or fire the claw half a dozen times in rapid succession is really annoying. I didn't have any trouble with the wall jumping, except for when it glitched--then it became impossible. I don't know why it's so buggy, and I've tried a lot of different methods of playing the game to make it better, but nothing seems to fix the issue.

I really want to play this game, but it's simply unplayable with all these control problems. Other folks don't seem to be having these issues, but that doesn't help me. It's a shame, really. I had to quit playing in the Waterway (repeatedly) because I couldn't even work my way up and out of a chasm. I really hate giving up, but I wasn't given a choice. Well, at least I managed to play long enough to earn the first medal. All I can say is - if you're reading this - I hope it works better for you than it did for me.
