The Cannibals are coming in 10 days!

In that time you must build your economy to keep Robinson healthy, sane and happy, but most of all, prepare a fortress so when the cannibals come, you are defended.

This game was made in 3 days from scratch by "Team Happy Shack" for the July Newgrounds Game Jam.

spot on!

this game is very well put together for the time you exerted on it. took me 4 tries but once i got the formula down it went right by. the problem as listed below is the stats draining so quick, but it is easily avoidable once you understand how long it takes to get hungry, thirsty, etc. but all in all great game and i cant wait to see what you guys come up with next :)

The difficulty keeps it from being a decent game.

Wow, this game is really hard. Dying is probably the only thing i can accomplish.
Keeping Robinson alive AND building a fortress is nearly impossible.

Watching the opening cutscene over and over again got really annoying.

Could be a decent game...

Entertaining once you figure out

Like people have already spoken, it's too fast.
Would be great a game like this with more focus in exploration and development than just keeping your body alive.
And in the end we deserve another video like the intro.

Don't forget this project! Take your time and improve it. We would be glad.

Winxe....Cast Away......come on.

Dude. You have to find Wilson, not just some stone with a face drawn on it. If you don't get the reference, you are either like 10 years old, which saddens me that Cast Away was that long ago, or you need to watch that movie ASAP. Other than that. pretty good game.

It could have been better.

The biggest problem i had was finding the stone with a face drawn on it. I don't see why the man would need that when he has his dog. Anyway, the fact that if one moodlet empties, the other moodlets drain twice as fast is pretty... stupid. Why would being thirsty make you any hungrier? You have to constantly be maintaining your health before you can even gather resources. Add to that the fact that the objects are scattered throughout the island, once you set up camp near the stream, it takes almost an entire day to search for one object. It's a shame since this game looked quite entertaining if not for the whole "survival" thing. Which brings me to another problem - If you want to make a worthwhile game, you'll need to contribute more time into it. 3 days seems a bit narrow. Typically, the shorter the time frame for the development of something, the worse quality it will have.

Also, the ending's lame. :/
