EDIT 3: Thanks for the frontpage, to many of you, the kind words and the constructive criticism! There's at least one major update still coming!
EDIT 2: Fixed the ending cutscene. Still to come: more detail for the Dresden area and some UI stuff to make the game more user-friendly.
EDIT: Fixed a bunch of bugs, including one that let you skip past most of the game content. We strongly recommend you retry the game now. More bugfixes and stuff on the way.

Listen:Billy Pilgrim has become unstuck in time.

This game was made for the Newgrounds Game Jam 5 contest. We had to make a game based on a work of literature in 72 hours. Naturally, our team chose to adopt Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse-Five.

Yep, this is unfinished and buggy. You can theoretically play from start to end, but expect visual bugs, a severely underdeveloped area, a non-functional inventory and a bugged ending cinematic. The game is in an unfinished state due to the over-ambitious idea and the exhaustion of me and the programmer near the end of the whole ordeal (45 hours without sleep are not fun).

We hope you manage to get some sort of enjoyement out of this! :)

Great Idea to Make a Game of of Wondeful Novel

Short on execution, I hope you make more in the future! Good art, nice music, too bad about the bugs.

It's OK

For developing this in 3 days that is, what I would suggest is to remove any unnecessary objects, why? Crappy computers such as mine will run the game really slow even on the lowest graphics settings, also working on the glitches is advised, I got one where the old man were sleeping and I pressed X to time travel and when I got back in that age, the old man were still laying in the bed, now I had 2 old mans in the same room, one sleeping and the other standing, it was a little funny though. An other would be to fix the escene smoothnessin other graphics qualities when I picked medium or low I got these cracks in the floor which wasn't annoying at all, only weird. And... That's pretty much it :) Good luck on getting this game finished, I hope my advise come handy.
