I started this game 24 hours late with my friends. I find it's a lot easier to work with people in person, the pressure to finish is a lot more intense when you have someone you know to motivate you. It's also a lot easier to communicate when everyone is working together in the same room, and knows each other previously. In the end I think the game came out great. It's always a blast working during these game jams.
Also, if you can't figure out, the game is about Peter Pan. Made an edit to fix a few shooting bugs, and one last edit to increase difficulty a tad.

so short it disappoints
Fun, original and cute. Unfortunately shorter than anything i've ever played. Compared to a book, this is a paragraph. Nevernever land's background scrolls by way too slowly, but it gives the proper impression that a boss is coming up, only, it is the very end of the game. the enemies aren't very heinous, and the idea of blasting birds and mermaids made me feel horrible.
Best thing about the game: the music is soooo good.

it's okay
This game is already. It took me the 3rd try to get to hook and beat him. Basically you can't get yourself hit or else you won't have as much fire power to win. :D
