Although there is one of moby's attack that is almost impossible to dodge (yes, the rain) the rest becomes actually trivial. So, the matter of winning or losing rest with the RNG. If the whale uses almost no "rain" move, you win. Otherwise, you will have a bad time.
and beside the fact it weighs a couple thousand pounds + it would normally devour oyu if it whear to eat you and it would litterally obliterate you with one blow and the rain part it would drown you in its water splash attack so yeah seems real to me so no crying but i dont think you could kill ikt with just harpoons you,d need an whaleship to get it on board and then kill it while its being slaugthered alive thats how the dutch and many other countries used to do to get whale oil and tar and ember -_-
