Near to perfection.

The art was excellent, the gameplay both interesting and entertaining (though there were a couple little glitches once in a while with the controls going offscreen and getting stuck at the top of the screen and bouncing off the ceiling during missions at times, which keeps it from being totally perfect mechanically).

The story, however, is so significantly better than that of most of the RPG's I have paid for in recent years, I actually got absorbed by it. The sheer length and depth of the story on the scale of a flash game is worthy of significant praise of itself; the fact that it has high quality gaming on top of that makes this exceptional.

this game is awesome... enough said. the story line is great, although there was alot of dialouge that doesn't really bother the average rpg fan, a large portion of these games are story based anyway, so kudos on that.

nice mix between shooter and rpg, liked that too, and the whole atmosphere of the game reminded me of disgaea which was cool.

only thing i'd say is step up from the midi tunes, they weren't bad, the creator just needs to make better quality music.

This game is simply brilliant, although I must admit that what I liked the most were the music and graphics. Then what about the gameplay? Well, it's simple, yet tricky (as in old classics), so that's good. The thing is... well, it tends to get repetitive (again, as in old classics). It's hard to make something that's not repetitive on a 2-D platform shooter, but nothing's impossible (except for keeping Aeris alive in FF7... that sucks, =/). Perhaps you could add a few more features, such as rescue missions, or strictly scavenging ones, to name a few.

Larsmen. I don't think you can appreciate a good, well thought story, or much the less have the patience for it.
Anyway it's a great game with great characters mixed into an epic story.
