I don't know how you did it, but you made me ENJOY grinding. A well made game with all the bits and peices of a master piece. Colud have improved the dating sim part a tiny bit.

To be honest, this is the first time i've been sucked into a shooter. Great job.
The only problem is the my save has been deleted and I was just 2 freakin levels more to finish the game (i think). I don't plan on starting it all over again but besides that, i think this is the best shooter/rpg/visual novel/sim game EVAR

really good, but...
theres a major glitch thats made it almost impossible to go on for me, on the account that it keeps on killing me :/ sometimes the ship will suddenly become attracted to walls, and it will eithre trap you, or kill you, and sometimes it makes you go to an enemy, killing you

Quite the accesable epic
The schmup portion was pretty standard and the upgrade system did breath new life into the game. What i think really drove me further was the fact that this game had an interesting enough of a plot to keep things moving along, even if the gameplay hadn't changed much between each world. I liked though the rpg elements of the game, even if progress could occur at a snails pace. My only real complaint is the amount of text which was kind of drab and dull. I understand you were trying to go for an anime-like setting but the characters seemed to rely a little too much on such conventions. Writing good interesting dialouge is pretty tricky though, so It didn't really break the game though.

Definently a great game to play.
I ended up playing this game for about four hours now, still counting. The gameplay is alright, you have various weapons you can use and switch during the battles, and it's hard enough that it presents a challenge that even if you lose you just want to try again. I was kind of hoping for more bosses when your exploring the area, but they are given upgrades so I can deal with it. The story is good, and I care for the characters and what happens in the story. Within the first few minutes the story was alright, but after that it just sucked me right in. The backround for some of the stages just seem a bit wierd of out of place, and some of the bosses looked out of place as well. (Ex: a giant snail and what seems to be an ice dragon.) Otherwise, I'd say it's a fun game to play and a good story to go with. I should probably go eat now...
