Wonderful

My main problem is the main char's looks, his face looks too rectangular/flat, i like the anime-esque characters, reminds me of some old-fashioned anime characters... The story is fine, lots of dialogue between the shooting and gives me that same sense of playing an rpg. There were some dialogues that seemed kinda corny like when Deuce and Ginny met each other on that planet. The names, i have to say were not exactly great lol, even if they are aliens from different planets, ionno just seems kinda unnatural to me. Anyways, the whole game seemed pretty philosophical, lots of reasoning on how Iblis, desire incarnate, works and why not all wishes can come true, some sounded kinda contradictory to me, but maybe im just slow... anyways nice game hope u make a new rpg, or perhaps even a flash movie in the future

Played it, loved it.

Combining this kind of game (horizontal flying shooter) with an RPG was a great idea. Ok, you weren't the first, but this is a GREAT step into making more stories like this.

Lovely music, very likable charactes, a very fun gameplay. It's not a 10 because I bet you are going to do a better one tomorrow. I'm sure, and I'm going to play it and review it, you have my word. Hope you enjoyed creating this game, as I enjoyed playing it (it took me 3 days (or 10 hours in total)! can you believe it?).

No offense to lazer chickens.

See you in your next game!

You don't see these things everyday

One of very few flash games I played and actually finished. What I liked least about it was the gameplay. The scenery kinda got a little repetitive when going on missions. There was one part in the game where a mission was not needed. I think it's where Ginny goes out to stop Neferiti (or before). Deuce is like "I got to go and help Ginny, but first let me take my nap and go on a raid before I do that." Or something like that.

I also wanted to see what Star's brother looked like for one of the ending. Oh can't forget about the laser chickens. Are they like 'lazer cats' where they shoot lazer out of their eyes?. That's all I got to complain out.

I was going to ask about what's with the snails since there's a level full of them and a boss but your audio artist seems to be obsessed with them.

Anyway I really liked it alot.

Truely Exceptional Work.

This game is a simplistic, yet complex mix of spacey sci-fi future technology, with the standard roleplaying overtone of elements and mystical beings that many users come to love, along with an ear pleasing soundtrack, and a plot that twists and turns based on your actions outside of combat, speaking of which while the combat of shooting down waves of enemies becomes somewhat tedious, the plot and character personality keeps me logging time into this game. Experimentation possibilities with stats and weapons were also a nice touch, If this game had major resources such as the access to voice actors and better engine creation, I could see this game coming to a handheld system, due to original concepts and well thought ideas. In short summary smooth game with classic gameplay and original concept. Well done.

Mass effect meets RaidenX meets Pico sim date!

The perfect way to spend 5 hours. The Story was amazing and made even better by some great writing. The graphics were gorgeous (although I could see some clear indications of Photoshop in the backgrounds) and character designs were excellent. The shooter gameplay itself was only average but combined with role playing mechanics it became something special. The module system was the perfect way to upgrade your ship! The music was also something that really stood out, an amazing, completely original soundtrack! This is one of the best games to be posted on newgrounds, good job!
