I have to say, you certainly accomplished your goal of creating an immensely capivating storyline. This was one of the best RPGs I've played so far (but then again, I don't play that many RPGs haha). Without knowing it, I would spend hours just playing this game.

The story itself (in my own opinion) might've been a little choppy, but overall I vastly enjoyed every minute of dialoge in this game. I quickly found myself wanting to finish every mission not primarily because I liked do so, but because I sat in anticipation on what was going to happen next.

The gameplay could've used a little more work, in terms of variety and such. No doubt, it was pretty solid gameplay, but I would've liked to see more stage variety for this length of a game, which I saw more of in the last couple of stages. Upgrading and improving your stats didn't really feel that accomplishing in some senses. Some of the new weapons you earn I never touched (but maybe that's just my own personal preference). And one last thing I would've liked was more enemy variety as well. Maybe have a level with space squids or something. And personally, I would've used different text to suit the style and the atmosphere of the game a bit more.

Aside from the gameplay, this was one of the few games that I've walked away from that I...well...didn't want to walk away from. It was both an RPG and an art. As you progress your own character and learn more about your crew members, you also learn more about life and different philosphies/perspectives which can apply to the player in real life. This game was truly touching in some aspects, and I applaud you for doing such a thing. Getting really attached to my crew mates, having honest concern and interest in them, and in general understanding their feelings and views was a hell of an emotional ride (at least for me).

With that said, I really appreciate the work you put forth in this game. It was an absolute pleasure to play it. Although some gameplay elements could've used a little more work, I absolutely fell in love with the storyline and all the characters with it.

Finally, thank you for providing us with such a wonderful experience. I really hope you create more games in the future just as emotional and moving as this one! Sorry if the review was a bit long.

[ P.S. Ginny was my personal favorite :) So I was near tears at her ending. ]

Incredgible Unique Inspirational

This is the flash game I spent the most time with ever, I guess. On the other hand it is propably the only flash game I never really regreted to have spent the time gaming, instead of doing something productive. It inspired me, it nearly made me cry and I will start doing something alike, even if its hard to reach this on so many levels.

Expertise Wisdom Joy

Thank you the lessons you let the player life trough. It is, luckily, possible to watch endings that you haven´t chosen or found on youtube. And I am glad for it, because it would steal so much more time, but I noticed that playing trough the old fashioned way, is the best way to really feel the ending. To sense it, and to really learn the lesson givin in each end.

Espacially the secret ending (beware a little spoiler here):
While fighting tough the endings, you niteice that every one is awesome, but not perfect, because other aspects and characters are let down a bit in every ending. (Though I liked the first "I don´t have a wish"-ending, with the dating star herself also a lot)

For this final realisation you, and the character alike are ready after all the lessons you learned in compleating it on the different ways. You see all the aspects and notice tat it is indeed impossible to do the "right" with the final offer. That is a important lesson to learn as well.
BUT in the moment of realisation the nearly perfect ending happens. And how ... trough compassion, trough sharing. it happened. It is possible.

So you teach us, that it dosn´t nessecairly have compromises to be made. There ae ways, and even if rare, that everything, even in the most complex of situiations can come out beautyfull for everyone. They can be achieved trough wide wisdom, trough constant work and trough compasion.

Forgiveness Socialisation Love

I have one humble wish:
Would you consider helping me in making something equally beautyfull as this? Possibly so I could shorten the long way that has to be gone since I am technically experienced enough for it.

Also, do you need a german translation for the game? I think it would be nice to convert it into multiple languages.

I love you,

take cae
