Why does his game have a score of 4+ with more than 200,000 views? The controls and graphics are terrible.

What a great game!

I really loved the visual novel experience. Even though I usually play anime related visual novels I can say that this was still a really great story. The plot and the meaningful teaching that becomes apparent in the end is what this game quite award winner for me.

The music complements the setting as well as the mood of each scene. I can just close my eyes and imagine myself in space listening to the piano of the main theme. There is also the light hearted themes that show up when there is a bit of comedy thrown in. It's always refreshing to have something to laugh at in a meaningful game such as Starwish.

The graphics and shooter gaming style is classic. It is what drew me in at first. It reminded me of old school shooters where the units seem a little pixelated. For that reason I kept the quality to medium not wishing it to be so smooth or too less detailed looking.

I can see how much effort you've put into this and I applaud you. This was an amazing game and truly one of my favorites!

ohhh my god i don't care i just want to shoot things. why would u think it's enjoyable to watch two static images hold text convocations for what feels like hours.

i wouldn't mind so much if they were shorter and the plot had any kind of pace, but it felt like they were longer than the actual levels. i don't know maybe it's just me, i wanted more game play, not a book.

Normally I don't write reviews, however, I felt compelled (could be the beers)

Anyhow, after playing through the first phase, I felt it was a pretty lame story, lacking in all the important places. All I was doing was enjoying the gameplay.

The second part got me a little more interested, and by the end of it, I *had* to continue, far past time for some sleep, mind you. I had to know what happens!

I digress, the gameplay is solid, responds as it should and there is enough weaponry to keep you occupied, and different gun types to appeal to different players. The MOD system is slightly flawed, in the sense that at the end (it may have just been me, also ***SPOILERS***) I had to stack major shield regeneration for the finale, although up to that point I was fairly balanced. The stat system was just fine, though the boosts weren't too noticeable in-game, though I'm not one to crunch numbers and over-analyze.

The story, as I said started slowly, and, in my opinion was fairly uninteresting and mundane, although it picked up enough steam to keep me interested up to the end, and even left me wanted more - and that's really the idea.

All in all, 4/5 game, very well done all around with graphics, sound, gameplay, smoothness, etc. Very well done, kudos to you.
