Hey ya'll here's a new toon for ya, this time it's from the REVOLUTIONARY AMAZING LA NOIRE that I really don't enjoy playing! Have a good one!
Definitely Not Your Best
I can almost see where you wanted to go with this toon, but it honestly felt like you did this on a whim and didn't really plan it out all too well. Which probably would've worked better under different circumstances, but the punchlines for this one came up a bit shorthanded. Although I'd like to say I'm glad you didn't solely rely on crazy face faults and massive screaming this time around and tried a different approach (aside from the poop). Though it didn't quite work too well for this toon in my opinion, I'd like to see you give this more subtle approach more often.
Animation and voice work as usual was nicely done. Felt there was a lot less inbetweens this time around, but it's whatever. I'm assuming the female suspect's voice actor was Suzy Berhow? Found it strange she didn't get any credit, but I'm sure I'm the only idiot here who would care anyway.
You know, from the look of things people still seem to be impressed by your work and greatly enjoyed this one. So I suppose if the fans are happy, keep doing what you're doing. If you ever have the time though, feel free to put in an extra effort to get my wannabe critical ass as well.
Do you have to ruin every new game that comes out. Have you even played any of them? I give you a 5 because your a good animator but I believe your skills could be put to something that doesn't piss countless numbers of people of every time a remarkable game is released to the masses.
The short awesome movies like this one belong in one of those awesome compilations, not standing their own.
good animation, good voicework, bad jokes, too short
Although I really like your work, this could have been so much more.
I don't want to present myself as an expert, but I have played LA Noire, and there was much more material to work from than just the facial expression of a witness, and the unlikely detail of the portraits depicted in the notebook.
This game has definitely potential for a great Awesome-video, but you didn't use the full potential. I'd love to see more work, but I hope your next video will be more indepth.
I'm looking forward to the next one!
